SLOVER, Jr., Bruce Kenneth
Age 32, of Sacramento, passed away on June 9, 2013. He was born November 11, 1980 in Sacramento, California. He is the loving son of Bruce and Eva Slover.
Bruce lived in San Ramon and Danville, California until 1989 when he and his family relocated to Roseville, CA. He attended Greenhills Elementary, Cavitt Jr. High and Oakmont High School where he played defensive tackle on the football team, and excelled in both history & art. After graduation he developed a career as a Technician in the Telecommunications Industry which took him all over the country. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, going to the gym and shooting range; he was an excellent marksman. He loved his family and friends and was always there to help whenever needed.
Bruce is survived by his parents Bruce Sr. and Eva Slover of Citrus Heights, and sister Eva ‘Sheeba’ Slover of Citrus Heights. He is also survived by grandparents: Grandma Eva Schober Goodson McLain of Rocklin, Grandpa Robert ‘Bob’ Slover and Grandma Marlene Slover of Penryn, as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and long time girlfriend, Michelle Biggs of Sacramento.
Bruce was a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend to many. He will be remembered for his beautiful smile, his strength, his wisdom and undying loyalty.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held for Bruce at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 15th at the East Lawn Mortuary, 5757 Greenback Lane, Citrus Heights, CA. There will be a reception to follow at Rounders Sports Bar & Grill at 7433 Greenback Lane in Citrus Heights.
