BAKER, Brooks Nelson
Passed away peacefully on August 13, 2011 he was 90 years young. He was born on May 7, 1921 to Byrd & Mardelle Baker in Chico, CA.
Brooks enlisted in the US Coast Guard as a radioman during WWII and served on the US Corpus Cristi. He also served as a radioman on the US Gallup during the Korean Conflict.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Marilyn (Chenoweth) Baker and his brother, Byrd J. Baker. Brooks was also predeceased by his wife, Elaine (Ballard) Baker, by only two weeks.
He is survived by his children; Terry (Kay) Baker, Kris (Marlin) Weinberger, Wendy (Bill) Goode and Jannie Twomey; stepchildren Steve (Sandy) Besso and Roz Besso, grandchildren Zane, Shelby and Zack Weinberger, Mitchell and Brady Goode; Christopher, Jacob, Joshua and Henry Twomey, Brandi Castillo, Ashley, Amanda, Stephen, Shelley and Alex Besso, Ryan Brennan and Kelli Mathison, great-grandchildren Bailey, Sienna and Colton Weinberger, Grace Castillo and soon-to-be Baby Goode.
He will be dearly missed by all who knew him and loved him.

A private service will be held at East Lawn Cemetery Folsom, Saturday 8/27/11 at 10:00AM.
