Betty, Bev and Barb. Neighbors, friends, Parkettes, and bridge players. Memories that will be with me forever. I can never forget Betty’s laugh, kindness, care of her family and others. I truly don’t remember a mean word ever coming out of her mouth. She was the most loving friend a person could have and I know I will never find another. Betty, please save a place at the bridge table for me with Bev, my mother and yourself until I get there. Oh what wonderful hands we will be dealt in Heaven. Rest In Peace my dear friend.

  • Kathleen Records says:

I have very fond memories of Betty and my mother Marion. They were like sisters and teased each other and enjoyed each other always. Although I have not lived in California in many, many years, I would always hear how Betty was doing and how the family was doing from my mother. I am so glad that they got to live in Del Webb together for some years, I know how much my mother enjoyed having both Jack and Betty near. I send all you many heartfelt wishes for comfort in this time of loss.

  • Robin Malby says:

Betty Meers was a first cousin to my mother, Marion Simpson Records. They were as close as sisters and I have many happy memories of Betty and Jack visiting our family over the years. My husband Doug and I had a lot more contact with Betty and Jack when my mother moved into the Roseville Del Web community they lived in. Visiting mom usually meant also visiting Betty and Jack for great stories, lunch the club house and laughs over the latest adventures in everyone’s lives.
What I loved best about Betty was her welcoming and kind spirit. She was a gentle soul, who always had a kind word for nearly everyone. She also had that dry sense of humor and quick wit which we all enjoyed. She dearly loved Jack, her sons, their wives, grandchildren and extended family. We know how Jack adores her and will miss her. We will miss Betty very much and send our love and support to the entire family. Robin and Doug Malby
