Dear Carol and Barbara, so sorry to hear about Arlene passing I wiah we could have kept in contact all these years My heart goes out to both of you and your families.

  • J. Walter Young says:

I met Arlene during the 60’s when she bought her insurance needs from me and Allstate. She was always a pleasant upbeat person who stayed that way. She made friends and I am glad I knew her as a friend for over 30 years. May God bless her family who I know will miss her.

  • Jackie Collins says:

Michele, My deepest condolences to you and your family as you mourn the passing of your beloved mother. We have been neighbors for almost 40 years and we are glad to have you back on the block. My fondest memory of your beloved mother is seeing her get home from work all dressed up in her high heels and stepping out of that beautiful long cadillac that was too long for the driveway. I think of you and your family everytime I pass your house. I wish you great strength as you face this Sunday and I will see you on the block. Always a Friend… Jackie

  • Kathy Lasich says:

The first thing I said, after hearing the sad news, was that Arlene was going straight to heaven. She was the nicest, most sincere person I have ever known. Arlene was my supervisor in the Employment Office of Pac Bell. I will never forget how she treated everyone with respect and showed a real interest in each of us. Because of her, I quit biting my finger nails (a very bad habit from childhood!). And she never nagged about it. I just knew it would make her happy to see! She was always taking care of someone at work and at home. She never complained when she was so ill she could hardly stand up – but she was at work. She was a beautiful person, inside and out. I will always remember her. I am very sorry for your loss. I know you will miss her forever. She was a light in this, some times, dark world.

  • Mary Clay says:

My condolences to the Glavas family. Arlene was one of the nicest people I ever knew. My thoughts are with you all today. Mary Clay
