Such a beautiful couple, now reunited in Heaven, playing poker with my parents, I’m sure! Tony, I’m so glad I got to see you in December. You are truly missed. You & Ena & your boys were such a wonderful part of my early childhood & I cherish the memories. You raised 4 amazing men who will carry on your legacy. We love you dearly.

  • Joe Custer says:

Simon, while I did not know your mom and dad having known you for many years and considering you a very close friend I can definitely see what type of people they were. Just great people that you want to spend time with.

  • Mike Boyer says:

Simon, you were my first best friend. I remember riding in the back of your dad’s green baracuda and looking out the window at the sky above. I am sorry for your loss my friend.

  • Richard Medina says:

Simon sending prayers to you and your family. Your memories will be your comfort during this difficult time.

  • Ken DeMain says:

I hung out with Simon a lot in our twenties but I only got to the house a few times but I do remember how both Mom and Dad took a sincere interest in who I was and what I did and how we became friends. I remember talking all about work and the gang of pals we were working with. We had a few good giggles about it!

  • Catherine Ann says:

I was very young when auntie Ena and Uncle Tony emigrated to the US. The biggest thing in my childhood was the excitement when the Post man bought a blue letter(airmail, also many visits to Kit and Sids and of course Rex. It was always lovely to see them visit the old country. I always felt close to them despite the distance. The last visit was Kits last days, where Uncle Tony proudly passed on his mother’s/grandmothers sewing box as I’m a keen sewer. I shall look back with many fond memories.
