Ami Jean Eunice-Nelson
Oct 18, 1937 - Aug 24, 2016
Ami Jean Freelan was born on October 18, 1937 to Floyd and Ruby Eunice she was the only daughter born to Ruby and Floyd until many years later when Ruby became widowed and remarried and had Ami’s little sister Carolyn.
In 1955 Ami met Paul Leroy Nelson and out of their union had 3 daughters and 1 son. Sherry, Dorine, Rhonda and Jerry. They were married for approximately 15 years. They divorced and then she packed her children up and returned to Sacramento with her mother. Her mother welcomed them all into her home.
Years later she met a man she really loved, Carliss Lee Hinton. She loved him and in their union had our baby sister Kristie. Then became a single parent and miraculously did a wonderful job in what she instilled in them.
She had a hard life, but received her most joy in spending time with her grandchildren and great grand kids. She loved crocheting, word searches, reading her bible, and passages, and watching Charles Stanley on Sundays.
She found joy also in her favorite TV shows. She enjoyed family reunions, and country music. She mostly loved her children whom she encouraged to live a great life, get along with spouses and love their children & grandchildren.
She was the light of our lives and NO words could ever describe the pain and emptiness we will feel for the rest of our lives.
I would like to share a verse:
Know, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us period. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of god that is in Christ Jesus our Lord ”
