Allison Bennett (Elsie Dickey)
Adored by 2 daughters, 7 grandchildren, 22 great and 2 great great grandchildren, loved by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends, and lovingly known as “Gammy” to many. She outlived all of her siblings and parents. She was active in the MDA and other disability support groups. Her passions were family, food, shopping, sun bathing, and playing board games. She was inspiring, compassionate, and faced all challenges with courage and resolve. She will live forever in our hearts and will always be the family matriarch.

Our first cousin list has taken another tremendous loss. Even though Elsie was older, she always took time for me. We shared many visits walking through the woods from our place to hers. They had a TV long before we did, so I went to her place to watch “Howdy Doody.” We also had a ‘zip line’ over a tar pit. So many wonderful memories of her as I was growing up. I always enjoyed our phone calls and she never forgot my birthday. She never failed to tell me how proud she was of her family. She loved greatly and was loved by all who knew her. We will all miss her.
