Obituary

Albert Lopez Sr, 73, of Elk Grove passed away July 20, 2014 Surrounded by his family.
He was born in Bakersfield, Ca. on August 10, 1940. He graduated high school and joined the Marines. Albert was stationed in South Carolina where He met and married his wife Grace on December 7, 1963. They raised their 6 children Albert (Jennifer), Elena, Frances, Joanne Carroll (Jeremiah) and Andrea Ames (Wade) all from Elk Grove, also older son Eddie (Rhonda) from their hometown of Ft. Myers, Fla.
Albert installed Elevators and was very proud of his profession and his union. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and a good cigar. Albert leaves behind his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren.
He will be joining his wife Grace, daughter Frances and daughter in law Jennifer in Heaven to enjoy eternal life.
A rosary and viewing will be held at East Lawn of Elk Grove on Thursday July 31st 5 pm and his funeral will be held at Saint Joseph Church in Elk Grove at 10 am on Friday August 1st.
