Aug 5, 1928 - Oct 11, 2020
Warren Lum born 8/05/1928, departed the morning of 10/11/2020. As a WWII veteran Warren’s dedication and honor in service is best represented by his lifetime of support to his favorite sports teams: San Francisco’s 49ers, Giants, Warriors and Sacramento’s Kings. In fondness, game days were Warren’s priority second to family, his dogs, and his sprawling garden. In Warren’s heydays, he was an avid card player, ace handyman, fisherman, and eventually retired from a long career at McCallen Air Force Base. He took much joy from all these activities and was proudest of the fruit trees which bore the sweetest of plums and peaches. He was married to Poping for 43 years (departed 7/23/2006) and will forever be remembered by his brother Allen Lum and wife Lina, his second eldest brother Barry Lum and wife May, sister-in-law Clara and husband Eugene Hardin, loving children Lana and Richard Lum, grandchildren Alexia, Bryce, and Nicole Yue, and numerous nephews and nieces.
An open lawn service will be held Tuesday Oct. 20th 11:30am at East Lawn Elk Grove, CA.
