Obituary for Wilmer Talmadge Black

Wilmer T. Black, 92 born 1925 in Miami, Florida, passed away on Sept. 8, 2018. He is survived by his wife Eunice Black, and sister Ima Jean McBryde. He was predeceased by his brother Carl Black. He is also survived by his children: Paula Orlandella, (Ralph), Darryl Black, (Suzie), and Brian Black, (Susan) and step children: Serafin Lara, Jodie Krumland, (Scott), and Mario Lara, (Sherry). He has several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He served in the US Navy, during WWII and the Korean conflict. He was employed with the State Dept. of Forestry for 37 years and retired as Battalion Chief (ECC Officer) in the Command Center Sacramento Headquarters.

Graveside burial services will be at East Lawn, Elk Grove Mortuary located at 9189 East Stockton Blvd. in Elk Grove CA on Sept. 14, 2018 at 12:00 noon with reception following. We want to thank the Kaiser Hospice Staff for all the kind care and support. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Kaiser Hospice in his memory.
