Larry Dickson

Larry H Dickson went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 13, 2018. Larry was born November 3,1935, in Carlsbad, NM. In 1944, he moved with his family to Porterville, CA and graduated from Porterville HS in 1953. He then served his country honorably in the U.S. Air Force for eight years. He was employed by PG&E and retired after 25 years. He loved the Lord, and faithfully, with his wife and family, attended First Church of God in Sacramento, and lived in that community for 31 years. After moving to Galt in 1988, Larry and Gail attended Real Life Church. Larry was very active in the community, and for more than 25 years, he delivered Meals on Wheels, and served on the election board from his home. Larry will be lovingly remembered by his wife Gail of 62 years, and his children: Neva (Steve), Randy (Erin), Lori (Jim), Marcia (Paul). Larry “Papa” will be dearly missed by his eight grandchildren: Keri, Nicole, Wyatt, Natalie, Holly, Sierra, Benjamin, Amber, and step-granddaughter, Cristina. He was also blessed with three great grandchildren: Lilly, Avery, and Ruby, also, step-great grandchildren: Brooklyn, Evan, and Hunter. Larry will also be missed by a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Larry was predeceased by his parents, Hugh and Mary Dickson, and his sister, Dolline Slayton. The viewing will be held on Thursday, October 18, 2018 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at East Lawn Elk Grove Mortuary. His memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 20th, 2018 at
