George Biechner

Elwood “George” Biechner was born 3/12/1929, in Chicago, IL, to parents Ellwood George Biechner and Martha Lockner Biechner and passed on 6/7/2019, peacefully in his sleep. George married Paula Plumber in 1948 in Sacramento, CA, and they had three children, Shirley Biechner Libis, Robert Biechner and Nancy Biechner Haley, they later divorced. George worked for Rainbow Bread until retirement. He met Betty Hoover Webster in 1976 and married in Reno, NV. They were happily married for over 40 years. George preceded in death by his parents and wife Betty Biechner. George’s favorite pastimes were playing golf, going to SF 49er games, and Sacramento Kings games. He loved to take care of his yard and garden later in life he rekindled his passion for drawing. George and Betty enjoyed many wonderful years living at Valley High Country Club in Elk Grove CA. George, will be lovingly missed by his children and step son Bill Webster. George also known to his grandchildren and great grandchildren as “Gramps,” will be remembered by his Grandchildren Christina Haley Ghidossi, Jennifer Haley Simmons, Alicia Libis Wilkins, Jason Libis, Danielle Biechner and Barry Biechner, and by his Great Grandchildren Mason Ghidossi, Gennavieve Ghidossi, Grant Simmons, Josh Simmons, Kyle Simmons, Jax Libis, Gia Libis and Jonah Wilkins. Service will be held on June 27th, 2019, at East Lawn Elk Grove Mortuary, 9189 East Stockton Blvd. Elk Grove Ca 95624 at 10:00am.
