Ermalinda Vasquez was born on June 3, 1946 in Sacramento, CA and passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and friends on September 28, 2019 in Sacramento, CA at the age of 73.
Ermalinda was a long time residence of the South Sacramento area where she began her career with the State of California and retired after 55 years of service. She was baptized and began serving the Lord at a young age, she dedicated her musical talent as a Worship Leader and pianist for the Apostolic Church. She was preceded in death by her parent Jesus E. Vasquez and Edubijes A. Vasquez. She is survived by her three daughters, Christina Escobar, Alma Escobar, Linda Escobar and her son Eddie Escobar, grandchildren: Priscilla, Xavier, Eddie, Krystal, Jazmine, Isabel, Evangelina, Elizabeth, Juan, Nayeli, Ariana, Josiah, great-grandchildren: Reynaldo Jr, Micaiah, Zina and Iliana. She is also survived by her siblings, Henry J. Montijo and Esther V. Carter. She leaves to mourn her lifelong partner Francisco V. Vargas and a host of nieces and nephews. Ermalinda was loved by many and considered to be a Mother and Grandmother to Rachel Perez and Family.
