Benjamin Oyao

Benjamin Oyao 84, passed peacefully in his sleep on Thursday February 7th, 2019. Ben is survived by his beautiful wife of 51 ½ years, Josephine Oyao of Elk Grove, his son Philip of San Jose, his son Sheldon and daughter in law Toni of Pearl City, HI, his granddaughter Shanae Oyao of Elk Grove, his grandson Kaikoa Oyao of Milpitas, his great granddaughter Malia Leilani who brightened up his every day and his sister Chefela Hammett of El Sobrante. Ben was an avid Notre Dame fan. He LOVED football and boxing. He was involved with helping coach both of his son’s football games with the Milpitas Knights. He often could be found at the fields, watching his grandchildren’s practices and games, which made him the Proudest Papa in the world. To know Ben was to Love him and if he had a nickname for you, you knew he loved you too. He will always be missed, but will Forever be in our hearts.
