Ralph Charles "Cav" Cavalari of Sacramento passed peacefully at home the morning of January 23rd. Cav was born the eldest of 2 in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania on December 20th, 1930. After serving his country in the Korean War, Cav married the love of his life, Martha "Jean" in November 1952. They were married for 59 years until her death in 2012. Cav was a hard working family man, who was always present for his children; he was their little league coach, and always attended his children's school and sporting events. Cav was known for leading by example to his children and to the employees that he managed during his successful career at McClellan Air Force Base. Cav is survived by his sister Phyllis Migliorino; his three children, Darrel (Karen), Deborah (Dean), and Darwin (Suzette); his 13 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Cav was preceded in death by his beloved wife Jean, his granddaughter Kristina, and great-grandson Logan. Cav was a humble, kind, man of his word and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Funeral services will be on Thursday, February 2nd at 10 am at the East Lawn Mortuary Chapel, 5757 Greenback Lane, Sac. Interment at Sylvan Cemetery.
