PATRICIA ANN BULJAN OBITUARY (revision 2)
Patricia Ann Buljan was born January 19, 1932 in Seiling, Oklahoma. She departed mortal life February 12, 2018 at the age of 86 years at Sacramento, California. As a young girl she moved to California with her father, Ottie Miner Henry, mother, Myrle Loreen (Burnett) Henry, and younger Brother Danny Rue Henry. They initially lived in Fresno then moved to Sacramento. Her husband of over 55 years, Steve John Buljan and her brother, Danny preceded her in death. She is survived by her two children: her son Bruce Buljan and wife Michelle, her daughter Stacy Kunde and husband Keith; additionally, her two grandchildren Kash Kunde and Bronson Buljan. She was a very kind, considerate, and benevolent person who always cared and sacrificed for family and friends, especially when they were in need. Her tenderness, sympathy, and love will be missed by many. She Graduated from McClatchy High School in Sacramento in 1948. After marriage to her husband Steve, they raised cattle and farmed on their ranch east of Florin, California where she still resided until her passing. She was very active throughout life. Even though she was a rancher, mother, and homemaker, she had a number of other occupations over the years. She was employed with the California DMV; Gerth, Brown, Clark & Ellis Advertising Company; and Campbell Soup Company. She was also a member of American Slavic Social Club and the Florin Historical Society. While her children were young, she supported their activities, serving as Den Mother for her sonâs Cub Scout pack and as an adult leader for her daughterâs 4-H Horse group. Pat enjoyed the country life and loved raising animals such as horses, cattle, sheep, chickens, cats, and dogs. But her most devout love was for her Savior, Jesus Christ, and her membership and worship at the Church of Christ in Elk Grove, California provided her abundant, comfort, fellowship, and happiness. Patâs bright spirit, charitable nature, and selfless love will be missed by all who had the good fortune to be touched by her presence. A celebration of Patâs long and bountiful life will be held at East Lawn 9189 E. Stockton Blvd., Elk Grove, CA with a Memorial service at 10:00AM, Monday, February 26th, followed by internment, then a reception for her family and friends.
