Pao-Chu Raines

Pao-Chu (“P.C.”) Raines, of Antelope, passed away unexpectedly on August 1, 2018, at the age of 69. P.C. was born in Taiwan on March 30, 1949, to her father, Li Tu Wang, and her mother, Chen Kwei Ing. She lived in the small fishing township of Su-Ao, in Yilan County, until she moved to the United States in 1972. P.C. spent all of her life caring for others and opening her heart to everyone around her. She was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend—every role with which she poured her entire heart and soul into. P.C.’s greatest pride was being the anchor to her family. P.C. is survived by her husband, Patrick; daughter, Mary, and her husband, Rhami, of Elk Grove; son, Paul, and his wife, Kristen, of Lake Grove, N.Y.; son, David, of Antelope; and her eight grandchildren, Bryan, Amari, Brandon, Leah, Sophia, Haley, Joshua, and Noah. She is also survived by her two brothers and four sisters, and their children, and her former spouse, Brian Sudentas. A celebration of P.C.’s life will be held on August 10, 2018, at 2:00 pm at East Lawn Mortuary, 5757 Greenback Lane, Sacramento, CA 95841.
