Obituary for Jacob Russell Schultz

Jacob Russell Schultz, passed away 23 July 2018 in Point Pleasant, CA , he was born 24 October 1925 in Point Pleasant, CA to Jacob Wilhelm Schultz and Ruth Marie Schmidt. Jacob was a third generation farmer and spent his entire life living on part of his family’s farm in Point Pleasant.

Jacob married the love of his life, Louise Marie Arcuri 20 June 1948. He was proceeded in death by his wife of 69 years, Louise and their son Jacob Russell Schultz, Jr., sisters June, Helen and Dorothy; brothers LeRoy, Clifford, Kenneth, Vernon and Gerald. Survived by children Anita Peters (Manuel) and William Schultz (Joan); grandchildren Joseph Peters (Jeanine), Vince Peters, Antonio Peters (Mouang); Ruth Schultz, Jake Peters (Hailey), Will Schultz, Michael Schultz, David Schultz and Emily Schultz. Great grandchildren Joey, Kate and Jessie, Natalie (Ryan), Jaylyn, Sebastian, Grace, Evan, great great grandson Colten James Peters and brother Donald W. Schultz.

A celebration of his life will be held at the Point Pleasant United Methodist Church located at 3329 Point Pleasant Road, Elk Grove, CA 95757 on Monday, 30 July at 10 am with internment in the Point Pleasant Cemetery. A potluck lunch will be held in the church social hall immediately after the service and anyone wishing to bring a dish may drop it off in the hall prior to the services. Donations may be made in Jacob’s name to the Mercy Hospice at 9912 Business Park Drive, Suite 100; Sacramento, CA 95827-9913 or to the Point Pleasant United Methodist Church Buscher House Rehab Project, 3329 Point Pleasant Road, Elk Grove, CA 95757.
