Dolores Palter or âDeeâ as she was sometimes called, slipped away on February 4, 2018, following years of declining health. She was born in San Francisco on August 2, 1936 to the late Manuel and Flora (Camacho) Teijeiro. She graduated from Balboa High School in 1954 and enjoyed a rewarding career as a secretary or what she described as a âGirl Fridayâ for an optical manufacturer in downtown San Francisco. Later on, she would put her organizational and accounting talents to great use, when she took on the role of Office Manager for several of our family run businesses, located throughout the City. While she took great pride in her work, her most fulfilling job was that of a wife and mother. Mom cooked REAL food every night, in her tiny Westlake kitchen and baked a cake every Sunday with either a leg of lamb or a roast beef. She also had a wonderful green thumb and truly loved her roses. Her life in the bay area was really where she was most happy, but her last years were spent in the Sacramento region where she relocated to be closer to her youngest daughter and her family. Dolores is survived by her husband of 53 years, Adrian; her daughter Annette (Vincent); her son Brian; her daughter Becky; 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren with 1 more due any day, along with her only brother, Bob, many nieces, nephews and family friends. She is predeceased by her parents, Manuel and Flora, her grandmother and namesake, Dolores Pardini and most recently, her oldest and beloved son, Marty.
A celebration of life will be held, Monday, February 12, 2018 from the chapel at the Eastlawn Funeral Home, 5757 Greenback Lane, Sacramento CA, 9:00 a.m. viewing followed by a service at 10:00 a.m. The afternoon burial will be at 2::00 p.m. at Olivet Cemetery 1601 Hillside Blvd., Colma, CA, reception beginning at 4:00 p.m. Original Joeâs of Westlake, 11 Glenwood Ave., Daly City, CA
We will miss you Mom, but we are comforted by the knowledge that you are now at peace and are soaring with the angels.
